✨ New Features
1. SWIMLANE VIEWS
What changed: Galactify now supports dynamic Swimlane Views for BPMN and UML diagrams - available in both horizontal and vertical orientations. You can build swimlane layouts manually by filling in the "Performers" field on your blocks (Tasks and Subprocesses in BPMN, Activity Diagrams and Actions in UML). Or let Mission Control AI handle it for you: describe your process, and Mission Control will assign performers and switch directly into Swimlane View. Blocks are also now fully draggable between swimlanes, so reassigning responsibilities is as simple as a drag and drop.
Benefits: Visualising cross-team ownership and parallel workflows is now more powerful and flexible than ever. Whether you prefer hands-on control or AI-assisted setup via Mission Control, swimlane diagrams adapt dynamically as your processes evolve. Need to reassign a task to a different owner? Just drag the block into the right lane - no need to manually edit labels or rebuild from scratch.
2. CUSTOM PERMISSIONS FOR BLOCKS
What changed: Workspace owners can now configure custom, fine-grained permissions for individual blocks directly via the Block Permissions Menu.
Benefits: Large workspaces shared across multiple teams now support precise access control at the block level. If certain user groups should only be able to view — or not see at all — specific parts of a diagram, you can lock it down exactly as needed. No more relying solely on workspace-level restrictions or splitting diagrams across separate workspaces just to manage access.
3. XML AND HTML FILE UPLOAD SUPPORT
What changed: Galactify now accepts XML and HTML file uploads. Both formats can also be used directly as input for Mission Control to generate diagrams from existing structured content.
Benefits: Teams working with structured data, web content, or system exports can now import XML and HTML files straight into Galactify — and feed them directly to Mission Control to kick off AI-assisted diagram creation. No manual conversion or copy-pasting required, making it significantly easier to turn existing documentation or data exports into clear, visual diagrams.
