From JARVIS to Today – A Glimpse into the Future of Work

Yesterday in Munich, I had the pleasure of kicking off the very first Wayra bits & bytes session with a topic close to my heart: how JARVIS – Iron Man’s XR/AI assistant – offers a surprisingly accurate preview of the way we’ll work in the future.

At Galactify, we like to think of JARVIS not just as a Yet Another Rather Very Intelligent System 😉 – but more importantly, as a model for what an intuitive, human-centered computer interface could be.

Why JARVIS Matters

JARVIS (or J.A.R.V.I.S) brings together several attributes that are already starting to shape our interaction with technology:

  • It works spatially – information exists around you, not locked in flat screens.
  • It’s tangible – you interact with your hands, just like in the physical world.
  • It uses speech input (and output) – conversation becomes the command line.
  • It communicates like a human – natural language, context awareness, and adaptability.

When combined, these qualities create an interface that feels natural and intuitive — exactly how technology should work for us, not against us.

And let’s not forget: JARVIS is multi-purpose and built for real-time collaboration. It’s a workspace without borders — something we’re beginning to expect in our everyday tools.

How Galactify Fits In

At Galactify, we’ve embraced this vision from day one. Our platform is already:

  • Collaborative
  • Multi-purpose
  • Spatial

That means we’ve checked off three out of six JARVIS-like attributes right from the start — and we’re not stopping there. We’re actively prototyping the rest, aiming to bring the full JARVIS experience into reality.

The future of work is closer than it seems. And if JARVIS is the destination, we’re already halfway there.

Stay tuned — we are closer to JARVIS that you might think!
